ACADEMICS
Stream of Education
The school works within the framework of the codes of matriculation education upto tenth standard and with State Board syllabus in the higher secondary classes following +1 and +2. Hindi is taught as an additional language.
Teaching System
The teaching is geared to impart learning by doing right from the kindergarten. The school tests and examinations are development oriented. Class strength is purposely kept small to enable individual attention and to monitor every child’s progress. All these factors work to give the students a solid foundation in fundamental concepts that prepare them well for their higher studies and to a career of their choice
Recognition
The school has been recognized by the Govt. of Tamilnadu as per the proceedings of the Director of Matriculation schools Chennai with Recognition No. No: 004-M-0116-0316
The school gives more importance to routine work and continuous evaluation system. An academic session comprises of two unit tests, a mid-term examination and a final examination. The academic performance for the complete year is taken into consideration for promotion.
Moral Values
K.G. Section
- Moral Kindness and friendly behaviour with everyone. (Particularly with brothers, sisters and classmates)
- Sharing the possession with others.
- To speak boldly and freely with others.
- Wishing the family members by saying “Good Morning”, after getting up from bed in the morning and “Good Night” before going to bed at night.v
- To obey Father, Mother, Teachers, Grand father, Grand mother and other such elderly persons at home and in other public places.
- To keep personal things like books, notebooks etc. neatly wrappered with good hand writing and also to keep the places. we use in a clean and tidy manner. (House, classroom, dining hall etc.)
- Not to spit in public places; to place waste materials only in dust bins.
- To keep the self clean (Personal Cleanliness). Brushing the teeth, using the toilet (easing), taking bath daily, dressing neatly, pruning the nails regularly etc.
- Must wash their hands with soap before taking food and after using the toilet.
- To eat willingly any food given at home by the Parents- should not ask for special dishes- should not waste food and other eatables- should not spill eatables on the floor.
- To drink water before and after the meal and not preferably while taking the meal.
- Must not scribble with anything on the walls, benches and desks in the school and also not anywhere outside the school.
- To help others when necessary.
- To speak the truth always.
- To be punctual in attending the school and also in their other endeavour.
- To practice some physical exercise in the morning.
- Must not use slang language anywhere and to use the polite words
- "Please/sorry, excuse me and pardon me" wherever possible.
- To welcome guests in a pleasing way at home, and to welcome officers and teachers in a polite and decent way in the class.
- Must not talk to the Strangers and must not receive anything from the strangers.
- To cheer others for good acts.
In addition to all the above mentioned values for the K.G. children the following are also to be stressed for Primary children. or Primary Students
- Not to touch others materials without permission – must not show interest in others belongings and unwanted things.
- Must be Honest, Sincere and devoted to duty.
- Must develop Self-control and Self – respect.
- Must be early to bed and early to rise
- Must not disturb others – Parents, elders, friends and neighbours.
- To be pious and God Fearing and to worship work that we undertake.
For Middle Wing Students
In addition to the above said values for K.G. and Primary Children
- To cultivate a steady mind – not to be disturbed easily by trivial matters.
- To develop a strong mind in a strong and healthy body.
- Hard and Sincere work to achieve the goal.
- To love our country – To respect the freedom we have got- must be a Patriot.
- To worship the Leaders who fought for our Independence.
- Must not ask for lifts from unknown persons and must not also give lift to unknowns.
The above said moral values may be taught to the children
- Through Moral stories.
- In an Integrated way while teaching the subjects.
- To teach the values in the moral and library period.
- To teach the values inside the school campus anywhere, at any point of time by all the staff members whenever found necessary

Good Qualities
Discipline and Good qualities
- Pupils must be present inside the school campus before 9.00 am on all working days
- All children must wear the school uniform on all school days. ( Monday to Saturday )
- Pupils must come in a queue from the class room to attend the morning prayer
- Strict Silence should be maintained during the prayer and also while assembling and dispersing
- Students should walk carefully in the corridors and staircases and must not run
- Class rooms, corridors and staircases are declared “Noise Free Zones”. Students found making noise in these zones are liable for punishment
- Students are expected to keep the school premises neat and clean
- The school diary should be brought to the school daily without fail duly signed by the parents
- Pupils themselves are responsible to keep their own books, notebooks, pens, lunch bag etc safe and must take them safely back home
- School hours specified by the school authorities should be followed scrupulously.
- Students are strictly forbidden to leave the school premises during class hours without the permission of the Principal / Vice Principal
- All students must speak only in English inside the school campus and in the school buses. Students are expected to practice the same at home also.
- Personal hygiene and cleanliness should be practised by all the students.
- Any kind of presentation to School authorities /teachers / classmates are totally prohibited.
- Pupils should not write or scribble on walls. Waste materials should be dropped into the dust bins kept in many places.
- Irregular attendance, violent behaviour, habitual idleness, copying in the examinations, neglect of homework and bad behaviour, will entail dismissal from the school.
- If pupils bring money to pay School fees/Bus fees, they must pay it in he office as soon as they enter the school campus. They must not keep such money with them in their classroom
- Objectionable literature and play cards should not be brought into the school. Severe action will be taken against those guilty of bringing such materials into the school.
- Pupils must not absent themselves from any organized school activity without the permission of the Principal.
- Pupils suffering from infections /contagious diseases will not allowed to attend school.
- Students must conduct themselves everywhere in such a way to maintain the decency and decoram of the institution.
- Attendance on the opening and closing days of every term is compulsory.
- Students should wish all the teachers and school authorities preferably once in the F.N. and once in the A.N.
- All pupils should show pleasing manners.
- To avail leave, letter must be sent to the principal duly signed by the parent.
- Distribution of toffees to celebrate birthday is prohibited presentation of books to school library is advised.
Guidelines
Guidelines to Parents
- Parents should co-operate with the school management in enforcing punctuality regularity and discipline among pupils.
- Parents must not allow their children to bring money to school for their personal expenses, since that will lead to unwanted behaviour and problems.
- Parents are expected to se that their children prepare their lessons well at home by providing suitable calm atmosphere at home.
- Parents/ guardians must pickup their child/ children from the school soon after the school is closed for the day.
- Answer paper/progress report will be sent to parents/guardians after every school test /examination. Parents are requested to examine the answer papers/ progress repot carefully and see that the children take special effort to study those subjects in which they are weak. Failure to return the Answer papers/ progress report in time duly signed by the parents will make the child lose the eligibility to write the next examination.
- Parents are requested to make complaints, if any, to the Principal, V.P. / A.O. and not to the class teachers.
- Parents /guardians are specially requested to inform the school office if there is any change in their residential address or phone number.
- The school authorities will not be responsible for incidents happening with our school children outside the school premises.
- Parents are requested to attend parent teacher meetings / parent management meetings and other functions arranged buy the school.
- Students can be taken out of the school y the parents / guardians only at 12.30 p.m or 4.30 p.m. and not at any time in between.
Dress Code
Boys
- Should adhere to the uniform code prescribed by the school.
- Should tuck in their skirts.
- Should wear prescribed shoes/footwear.
- Should be with short hair, neatly combed.
- Should be always with rimmed nails.
- Should turn out smartly with washed and ironed uniform
Girls
- Should adhere to the uniform code prescribed by the school.

- Should not wear any kind of gold/silver ornaments.
